QA, support, a customer success colleague or a founder on a locked-down laptop can all record without a software request.
Show, do not describe
Thirty seconds of screen beats a paragraph nobody can reproduce. Record what happened, paste the link into the ticket, and move on.
Start recording for freeBy the time a bug is written down, most of the useful evidence is gone: the exact order of clicks, the state the page was in, how long it hung, the message that flashed and vanished. What is left is a sentence that starts with "sometimes when I", and a developer who cannot reproduce it.
A recording keeps all of it. The person triaging sees the same thing you saw, in the same order, at the same speed, and can usually tell within twenty seconds whether it is a real defect or a stale cache.
That is the whole pitch: fewer round trips, fewer tickets closed as not reproducible, and no meeting to demonstrate something that takes half a minute to show.
Reproduce it once, on camera, with narration.
Set the page up so you are one action away from the bug, then start recording. Nobody needs the two minutes of navigation.
Do the thing, wait for the failure, and say out loud what you expected instead. That sentence is often the whole ticket.
Add the link to Jira, Linear, GitHub or a Slack thread. Anyone on the team can open it without an account.

The developer picking up the ticket does not need a Rekkko account, so the evidence never gets stuck behind a login.
Cut everything except the reproduction, so the recording is twenty focused seconds instead of three rambling minutes.
Worth including: the URL in the address bar, the browser console if the bug is technical, the failing state left on screen for a couple of seconds, and one sentence about what should have happened.
Worth leaving out: real customer data, anything on an internal dashboard next door, and your inbox. Share a single tab or window rather than the whole screen and most of that risk goes away. If the recording does contain something sensitive, put a password on the link or set it to expire.
Better you read this here than find out halfway through a recording.
