Does anyone need an account to watch?

No. Send the link and they can watch in any modern browser, on a phone or a laptop.

Can I import my Loom videos?

Not automatically. You can download them from Loom and keep the links you have already shared working there, then record new ones here.

How long can a recording be?

Up to 10 minutes on the free plan and up to 2 hours on Founding Member. The 2 GB size limit per recording applies either way.

Can I edit after recording?

Yes. Trim on the timeline, split and reorder clips, change speed, remove silences and filler words, or delete words in the transcript to cut that part of the video.

Who can see a link once I send it?

Anyone who has the exact link. If that is too open, add a password, set an expiry date, or turn the link off, and the recording stops playing for everyone.

Do you use my recordings to train AI?

No. Your recordings are yours. The transcript and summary are generated for you and are not used to train anything.

“I paid for Loom for years and used only a fraction of it. Every recording seemed to come with another limit, upgrade or subscription decision. So I built the recorder I wanted for my own work, then opened it to everyone.”
